Ahmed Abdelbasit Badr

Ahmed Abdelbasit Badr is a Doctoral Candidate and Research Associate at the University of Bremen within the 6G-TERRAIN Marie Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Network. His PhD research focuses on Mobility-Aware Joint Sensing and Communication in Intent-Driven TNTN-Based 6G Networks. Ahmed holds a Master of Science in Communication and Information Technology from Ulm University, Germany, where he completed his master’s thesis on multistatic gesture recognition using radar data. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering and Technology from the German University in Cairo, completing his graduation project on physical layer authentication at Ruhr Universität Bochum. Ahmed’s profile is characterized by a unique synergy between academic research and  industrial expertise. Prior to his current role, he held different positions in the telecommunications sector, including serving as an IT Capacity Planning Senior Specialist at Vodafone Egypt and a Technical Customer Experience Engineer at E& Egypt. In these roles, he applied advanced data analytics using SQL and Python to solve complex network optimization and capacity challenges. This background allows him to bridge the gap between theoretical frameworks and the practical, large-scale requirements of modern mobile networks. His academic contributions include co-authoring research published in the 2022 European Radar Conference (EuRAD) and serving as a Research Assistant at Ulm University.  A recipient of the prestigious DAAD scholarship for his master’s studies, Ahmed’s core research interests include 6G technologies, Integrated Communications and Sensing (ICAS), Signal Processing, and Machine learning.
